Last week

On Monday I drew a screen I did not like. On Tuesday I showed it to Priya, who said it was fine, which I knew was a polite lie, so I did it again. On Wednesday and Thursday I wrote and deleted a paragraph of help text eleven times. On Friday I shipped the version from Tuesday with one word changed.

I think about that week more than the weeks that went well. Nothing bad happened. I just kept moving the same pieces around, and the piece that mattered was a single word.
